Broken Heart
Never thought this would happen to me, but in 2007, my heart was broken. This was the only time in my life that I used the word “devastated” to describe how I was feeling (thank goodness). Even then, in the moment of extreme grief and pain, I KNEW it was the best thing that could have ever happened. That this too was for my highest good, and a gift from the universe. I just needed to feel the pain, heal my soul, and see what was on the other side of my broken heart. Luckily, our hearts are resilient, and with lots of self-love and honesty, I came out stronger, healthier, and oh so much happier on the other side. Creating this collage soothed my tender heart, and inspired my Hearts Desire series.
