Nadya Ateş’s “Istanbul” interprets the city’s distinctive character and cultural texture through an original textile art approach. The handwoven fabric technique gives the work a rich surface and tactile quality, while reflecting Istanbul’s unique atmosphere through a contemporary artistic perspective. Depending on the preferred presentation, the artwork can be displayed framed at 87 × 99 cm or unframed at 78 × 90 cm.
