Details: Goddess of Love & Beauty, Aphrodite or Venus represents passion. In this new collection I have mixed purple & green chrome plating to color her skirt detail to maximize its’ modern and contemporary art side of this Ancient Greek Statue. Her body is in neon green color. Finally, I’ve added last touch of Pop Street Art details to make it completely unique Venus de Milo design.

This graceful statue of a goddess has intrigued and fascinated since its discovery on the island of Melos in 1820. The statue reflects sculptural research during the late Hellenistic Period: classical in essence, with innovatory features such as the spiral composition, the positioning in space, and the fall of the drapery over the hips.

Aphrodite is the Olympian goddess of love, beauty, sexual pleasure, and fertility. She is regularly attended by few of her children, the Erotes, who are capable of stirring up passion in both mortals and gods at the goddess’ will. Portrayed as both insatiable and unattainable, Aphrodite was born near the coast of Cythera out of the foam (aphros) Uranus’ castrated genitals created when they fell into the sea. Even though married to Hephaestus, she had affairs with all Olympians except Zeus and Hades, most famously with Ares, the god of war. She also had famous romances with two mortals, Anchises and Adonis.
