Stylistically, the artwork establishes a powerful rhythm between the human settlement, formed by cubic grey-white houses and a winding road in the valley, and the monumental mountain masses rising in the background; the stormy dark blue sky occupying the upper half and the burst of bright neon-green light filtering through the clouds onto the mountain slope create a sharp tonal contrast and high energy. In terms of meaning, while romanticizing the wild, impassable, and mystical nature of the Picos de Europa, the work conveys the unpredictable, shifting moods of nature, the thrilling atmosphere of fleeting light play, and the sheltered serenity of human presence within this vast geography through the thick, chaotic, and rhythmic palette knife strokes (impasto).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":26,"template":"","listivo_14":["Acrylic","Painting"],"listivo_18029":["Unframed"],"listivo_18153":[],"listivo_29992":[],"class_list":["post-18338","listivo_listing","type-listivo_listing","status-publish","hentry","listivo_14-acrylic","listivo_14-painting","listivo_18029-unframed"],"acf":[],"listivo_130":[],"listivo_345":{"url":"","embed":""},"listivo_145":["https:\/\/www.artgallery.com.tr\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/artgallery-mockup-24.avif","https:\/\/www.artgallery.com.tr\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Picos-2-1.jpg","https:\/\/www.artgallery.com.tr\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/artgallery-mockup-26.avif"],"listivo_344":[],"listivo_29823":[],"listivo_29822":["122.0cm"],"listivo_29821":["152.0cm"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.artgallery.com.tr\/art\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/listings\/18338","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.artgallery.com.tr\/art\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/listings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.artgallery.com.tr\/art\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/listivo_listing"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.artgallery.com.tr\/art\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/26"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.artgallery.com.tr\/art\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=18338"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"listivo_14","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.artgallery.com.tr\/art\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/listivo_14?post=18338"},{"taxonomy":"listivo_18029","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.artgallery.com.tr\/art\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/listivo_18029?post=18338"},{"taxonomy":"listivo_18153","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.artgallery.com.tr\/art\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/listivo_18153?post=18338"},{"taxonomy":"listivo_29992","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.artgallery.com.tr\/art\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/listivo_29992?post=18338"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
