Montrouge Art Fair 2026: The Contemporary Art Exhibition Showcasing the Next Generation of Talent
The Montrouge Art Fair returns for its 69th edition, taking place from February 13 to March 1, 2026, at the iconic Beffroi de Montrouge. A key event in the contemporary art calendar of Île-de-France, the fair once again brings together a vibrant selection of emerging artists within a 1,500-square-meter exhibition space.
Renowned for its strong commitment to supporting artistic creation, the Salon de Montrouge continues to serve as a vital platform for discovering the next generation of contemporary artists. This year’s edition presents the work of 40 emerging talents, offering visitors a compelling overview of the current art scene and a glimpse into the voices that will shape tomorrow’s museums, galleries and publications.

The fair embraces a wide range of artistic practices, including painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, video, installation, performance and design. Mediums are secondary to originality, experimentation and creative vision. Each project contributes to a diverse and dynamic panorama of contemporary expression, making every visit a unique experience.
Open to professionals, collectors, art enthusiasts and curious visitors alike, the Montrouge Art Fair is a free event that celebrates inclusivity and accessibility. The selected artists represent a broad spectrum of cultural backgrounds, coming not only from across France, but also from Belgium, Italy, Iran, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Morocco, Canada, India and Uruguay—highlighting the fair’s international outlook.
The works on view engage with some of today’s most pressing themes, including identity, ecology, gender equality, social justice and family structures. Through these perspectives, the fair reflects the complexity of contemporary life and the global conversations shaping our time.

While the full program has yet to be revealed, the 2026 edition is expected to extend beyond the exhibition space, animating the city of Montrouge with public art installations, talks and readings at the municipal media library, and workshops at the Colucci space—continuing the fair’s tradition of engaging with the city and its audiences.
From sculpture and photography to drawing and video, art is presented in all its forms at the Montrouge Art Fair. A must-see winter event, it invites visitors to explore, discover and be inspired at the Beffroi de Montrouge.
